15 cents for DQ'ng on very long survey
« on: July 28, 2016, 02:15:44 pm »
I completed a very long and tedious survey. After submitting, I got the dreaded "Sorry, but you are over quota".  However, I also got 15 cents for a very long survey where I DQ'd. That really helps soften the DQ. I am glad that FC did this.  :)   A penny would not have been enough.

.15¢ IS better than a penny, but it would have been nicer to get your actual pay. I've never had more than the penny DQ money, but I rarely take long surveys, so what do I know?!  ;)

I also completed a survey that took an hour and then got the message, sorry we are over quota! I did receive the $0.15 cents, but I feel it still was not worth my time!  :-\

I do appreciate that you get the long dq bonus along with the regular penny. Considering the amount of surveys that are only paying 50 cents  or less now I'll take it for getting kicked out

It is still a rip off as far as I am concerned. For a while they where paying pretty good for surveys and I was making around 50 bucks a month on here doing them. Those days are long over. >:( >:( >:(

I have only been doing short surveys. In my opinion ,15 cents for 20 minutes of my time is not worth my time
Maybe the survey companies should adopt a system where the reward is based on the amount of time  spent on  survey ie,1cents after a few questions, 25% of the reward after completing 25% of questions and so on.

I get those too and appreciate the extra amount... I rarely have trouble with surveys as I pick the ones I have a good record with... if you consistently have problems with a survey type or company, try other ones

Yes, I've often said that taking practically an entire survey that is 15 minutes or more and then receiving a penny is a rip-off.  You've proposed a feasible idea.  A fair one!  However, some survey companies don't appear to really care about fairness.

It would be fair.  For those companies paying the long survey DQ bonus at least something is being recognized and a step in that direction.  Only Qualtrics (paying nickle to 15¢) has done anything to my limited knowledge.

Wow 15 cents instead of a penny... I have experienced the over quota after finishing or near finishing on occasion. All is well though those pennies add up!

I have yet to come across that, I usually just get my one cent.

I usually only do surveys that are no longer than 20 or so minutes unless I have time to kill. I do not know what made me do a very long survey but I should have taken my own advice.
