I'm not quite sure what you mean. Would I try to save someone who didn't want to be saved? Yes of course, I can deal with persuading them later after I've saved them. But everybody is worth saving aren't they? I have never been in this situation, the closest I have come is saving a dogs' life. I was on a canal boat holiday once with my family and our pet dog. She was very old, almost totally blind and she accidentally walked off the side of the boat. We called for her but she was hard of hearing. What was worse is, the banks of the canal were too high for her to climb out so she just kept swimming, and swimming. We tried to call for her but when we realised she couldn't hear us, nor see us, I jumped in and swam for her. When I reached her, her head had just started to bob under and she was getting exhausted. So I kept her head about water whilst I swam backwards slowly to the boat. My mom and dad pulled her out of the water and she totally recovered.

As an animal lover Pen......Bravo!!!

RE saving someones life,Jesus said the greatest act of love 1 can give is to give their life for that person.

Love also covers a multitude of sins. The greatest definition of love can be found in the book of Corinthians. We all use the word and dont have a clue what it really means!
