Samsung
« on: October 13, 2016, 07:50:24 am »
In addition to their exploding Galaxy Note 7s, and the replacement phones for them, Samsung also has exploding washing machines.

Lucky me, ours that we've had for almost a year happens to be one of the ones affected. I submitted the model and serial numbers through their website [LINK in case you need/want to check your own] and they suggest washing bedding, waterproof items, and other bulky items on the delicate cycle until they and the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) can fix the problem.

This genuinely scares me because we live in an apartment, and where the washing machine sits it's against a shared wall with the apartment behind us. Seeing the damage from the people it's already happened to, it definitely has the potential to be a fatal situation. So I don't plan on washing the bedding within our home anytime soon. I'll take it elsewhere if I have to because I refuse to continue taking that risk now that I know it exists.

The company is in for a big hit this year. It's really amazing there have not been more phone disasters and not just from Samsung.

Yeah it's getting crazy, and I like Samsung. I have a smartphone from them and was thinking the next time I upgrade, which will probably be next year, I will get a Note. Now I'm not so sure.

I think that these companies are not testing their new products properly, the rush to the market are causing them problems...

What is up with Samsung lately?! Coincidentally, my mother recently purchased a new Samsung cell phone, but I am unsure if it is Version 7. I hope not. Samsung is generally a very good brand (I bought three televisions through them in the past few years), but they really need to get their QA/QC department under control. Otherwise, they will be losing numerous consumers.

battery is always the problem of samsung ! Been buying every two years so to be safe not to explode the battery because of the wear and tear. their seems to be of low quality compared to some brands of mobile phones.

Go figure. I broke my old phone and just got my first smartphone. It's a Samsung! Do I need to be concerned? It's hard enough just getting used to a smartphone, and now this?
