Expensive furniture

Why is furniture so expensive. I have been wanting a new bedroom set and have been shopping around but the cheapest you can get is for a thousand dollars then then they want to charge $200 for shipping knowing mostly likely you need those big items shipped.

I think everything is expensive. If I bought me a house, I would spend a lot of money on furniture that I would be keeping plenty of years.

Yes, I think furniture is very expensive, too.  Way too expensive for the cheap materials they tend to make it out of today!

I think it's so expensive too.  Don't know why they would do that.  I know it cost a lot of labor for it but it would be cheaper.

Maybe, it's due to the material used as well as labor costs.Drives me crazy, seeing furniture that looks like some thing a child could make in wood shop & priced for over a 100 bucks!

Depends on the material used, how much it cost for the store to get it in there store shipping and such. Every little kink has to be paid for cost must be made up or profits will never happen
