Do you have matching furniture or mismatched furniture, and which do you prefer?

I cant decide which I prefer. My furniture is currently mismatched, but I have had matching sofa, loveseat, etc. in the past.

Re: furniture I have had mismatched bed and Dresser but in color they were almost same color.

Bed was darker in color the Dresser a little slight lighter.

I like mixing old furniture with new...I also like mixing textures.  Yet everything still goes together but not matching per say.  I usually buy one or two nice pieces and then work around them with items I find at garage sales or estate sales.  I used to love watching trading spaces... Enjoy your day.

I am sorry to say, but I got a good chuckle from your question.  Thank you for starting my day out with a smile.

I click online for pennies where I can, what do you think my furniture is?  I have what I can afford to pick up where I can, when I can.

I prefer matched and am mostly matched, but in the past, economic considerations have kept me mismatched.

I have matching furniture. I like to change my color scheme often, so I need something to remain a constant.

Comfort is ALL that matters, whether it matches or not... we just got rid of a wonderful sofa that matched EVERYTHING, but my hubby hated it because it was uncomfortable...

I have a matching couch and loveseat.  But because I got them when I had young kids in and out of my house all the time they have matching slip covers.  I also have a gliding rocking chair that I made cushion covers for so it also matches the couch and loveseat.
