I am not a member of any that you have to pay for membership.  I use Kroger reward card quite often and get good deals from them!
Have a wonderful day!

No, I just go to the discount supermarkets that don't charge any membership.

Agree with you on this. I don't, nor have I ever, belonged to a store where I had to buy or have a special card just to shop there.

I have Sam's club.  I use the card about every 3 months when we take some one to the doctor.  the store is 120 miles away.  Otherwise i use Walmart, again  this store is only 80 miles away.  Or i use the  Walmart  when i go to sam's. Because there is a lot  Walmart has that  the new Sam's does not have. But i love buy  in bulk as i   repackage all of my  meat  into smaller packages and it is so much cheaper.  I live in a small town and the grocery store is so darn expensive that i save a lot when i go out of town shopping.

We have tried both Sam's and Costco and found that there were more things at Costco that met the needs of our family (four people).  We have an executive membership that costs, I think, fifty five dollars a year. We than get points back for everything that we purchase. We generally get a check sent to us in October that pays for the membership and puts thirty or forty dollars extra in our pockets. I am careful with what we buy because not everything is cheaper. Walgreens, for instance, sells cans of tuna for about half of what Costco charges. Fusion Cash forum posters turned me on to using my King Sooper's membership to get something free every week. I went shopping yesterday armed with coupons and got one hundred and thirty dollars worth of groceries for forty seven dollars. I only bought two name brand items that our family normally wouldn't buy-the coupons made them cheaper than generic.

We have Costco here. I like the samples, my daughter just bought 50 lbs of cat litter, and she picked the 50 pound box up in and out of her car and apt. for $12.00. If you use Sears, they give points for shopping online and in store purchases and the points are used like money. Really I went on a free shopping spree because of my points gathered from shopping at Sears.  :cat:  :dog:

I don't have a membership to any grocery store because I live alone and mostly they are good if you buy things in bulk.  With just me that is not feasible because I don't use that much or have the space to store bulk items.

I've been to Sam's club several times but can never find anything that I actually regularly use, at any savings (especially once the cost of membership is added in).

We have a new Costco by us but I don't think I'll be going.  I do better in regular stores, watching the sales.  On-line can also saves me time & money.  I have a Amazon Prime membership only because that one actually saves me time, money and alot of stress in so many ways.

I only buy absolute necessities,  try to cook/bake from scratch, use homemade remedies for everything and even the pet's food & treats are homemade.  I re-use & re-purpose...all on purpose to save money.  So not spending money on "memberships to save money" means...I'm NOT spending.

*** One example of an Amazon "deal" was, I discovered a roll of re-usable bamboo/mix towels that can save money on buying so many paper towels, because they are washable and last several washings.  (They are fantastic for everyday cleaning!)  I was buying a roll of paper towels every 2 weeks...........now a roll lasts me 2-3 months, because I only use them for the worst messes (and I get the paper towels that let you select what size sheet for the job.)

But, that's just me.  I know alot of people whose families do save money on their needs at both Sam's & Costco.

I have my entire family on a business card.  The executive card payback covers usually at least 1/2 of our membership fees.  We do our big and some gift shopping at Costco, or as they say when I visit Canada Club Price.

I only have free memberships, like RiteAid and CVS. We don't have any stores like Sam's Club or Costco around here, but even if we did, I probably wouldn't get a membership, because for me it isn't worth it. The only paid membership I have is Amazon Prime, since I order from Amazon all the time.
