My old college had a bunch of ugly sweater parties. It's always hard to find an 'ugly' sweater that is "ugly" but cute at the same time

I want an ugly Christmas sweater but I live in central Florida and I might not even be able to wear it so I haven't bothered getting one lol.  Likely will be wearing shorts and a t-shirt.

The gaiety of this concept eludes me. And I don't wear many sweaters anyway.

We have a contest for one day to wear them where I work, but I won't be participating. Am I a real party pooper or just totally disinterested? Probably both.

I love ugly sweaters!  They're always funny and attract attention.  Because I live in a two religion family where half is Christian and the other half Jewish my ugly sweaters are usually blue and white then I wear them for Christmas.

I don't bother buying one.  Living in Florida it usually doesn't get cold enough to wear until after Christmas.

I'm not crazy about the ugly Christmas sweaters but I saw a store in my area has "ugly Christmas sweater socks" and I thought they were kinda too cute to be called that.

I live in Florida and I've definitely have had to pull out my sweaters and boots already.

We had an ugly sweater party, but the sweaters people wore weren't really ugly. I didn't participate because I didn't want a sweater in my closet that I don't like.
