I had leased my SUV a few years ago but last year changed it to a finance so I could pay extra money and get it paid off. I've never had a vehicle that I did not have payments on

We own both of ours, a van and a pickup truck.  They are not new, but  so far have  gotten us where we are going and back with no trouble.  We make  a lot of trips out of town  either for me going to the doctor or hauling  older people. Most trips are from 120 miles- 167. One way. That is a lot of miles put on it. But  myself i can not see buying a brand new one because the minute you drive it off the lot you  lose a lot of money.  But i do think i will be getting another car soon. As for our truck it still runs great mostly use it to haul wood and such but once in a while we have to go out of town with it.
