Being transgender is no biggie, but being a child is not the way to say that you are one.  Parents should talk to a young child and discuss what is going on in their lives to make a decision on their own.  I think parents should not allow that to happen until they are adult to make such a life changing decision.

As far as I can tell this is just another "political ploy" used by the DEMONRATS to brainwash our youth into thinking they are something they're not.  It's really a sorry story and terrible for the U.S.A.!

I think boys should be in boy scouts and girls in girl scouts. I don't agree with letting a girl into boy scouts. The line has to be drawn somewhere.

I think people should be able to do whatever they wanna do as long as  you are old enough to understand what you are doing. However, sometimes I st think that our society has deteriorated that it is now affecting the young ones.

So if a person wants to walk in a movie theater and shoot the place up that is okay as long as they are old enough to know what they are doing?  I mean you did just say people should be able to do WHAT EVER they want to.  Fact is we live in a sick demented world.  A world that is not going to last a whole lot longer!

We need to be open minded and compassionate about these things....

especially if we've never walked in the shoes of the other person.  Some people know that something is seriously wrong.  Sexual orientation and gender identity are two different things.

Some people know they're a thin and healthy person living in a fat person's body.  That issue can haunt them 24/7 and it's similar with gender identity.  If an individual is born with female genitals and goes through life thinking and feeling like a boy - they deal with an overwhelming inner conflict until that issue is resolved.  There's more involved in gender than what a person is hiding in their pants.

I understand the boy scouts now recognize gender on the application; instead of, going by the gender shown on the birth certificate.  I respect the change that's taking place so people can feel at peace with who they really are.

Thank you!!! It is nice to read an open-minded reply to this topic. :rainbow: :peace:

I am glad someone has an open mind and can express it clearly.  The children are going through enough without having to have "adults" judging things that they don't always understand.

Hello! :) :D

For the most part I'm an open minded person. I'll keep an open mind for almost anything. However there are certain things I will never understand, for instance transgenderism. I don't understand how you can be born into the wrong body. Your body is your body you have to do the best with what you have. Nevertheless I respect them as a person and believe they have the right to live their life the way they want. I believe if there wasn't so much pressure for a person to conform to their gender roles transgender wouldn't be a thing. Perhaps only us can remove transgenderism as a whole.

Country Girl i agree with you about those that say "if you are old enuff to understand"......its ok.I wanna apologize for an earlier response i made in this topic.I based it on NOT having an operation.Having the operation is already a "sin"in itself if one takes it that far.I am not going to judge one being ignorant for doing so if they realize in life they made a mistake.God sees the heart condition...not mankind.Too many give a pat on the back for saying you must be open minded. There is right and there is wrong. There in unatural and natural.

Pretty obvious why mankind is screwed up.The ignorance that Trump will take us to the promised land is a joke. And i am not picking on Trump....its the same if Hillary won as well!

Man has dominated himself to his own injury and Satan has helped too.

 It is all very confusing. So: Do not judge. I think it should be like: What do you want to be when you grow up: A Dr., pilot, teacher, driver, chef or any other occupation. Do you want to be a boy or a girl?

It's frankly disheartening that this kinda thing is going on with children now. If God made you one gender, that's what you are and what you'll always be. You oughta own your gender and be proud of what God made you.

Having an open mind and accepting other people's idiosyncrasies is not the same thing as changing the status quo to suit their idiosyncrasies.  :female: :male:

You can love other people if they are confused; but you shouldn't validate that confusion just to be politically correct.

There have always been people who do not fit the norm, but in my opinion it doesn't make sense to sensationalize them and to celebrate their "bravery." How does that help anyone? :dontknow:

I 100% agree.....  I also believe people have just gotten nuts about this stuff because they cam sue people and places for their feeling getting hurt....  Next will  be a need for trans gender Prisons!! I mean really a woman who want to be a guy and commits a crime  where does she go ?
Mens Prison  Wonder if she really would want to be there ?
