Paid forum posting
« on: February 24, 2017, 03:17:57 am »
Is there any way this site can increase the amount you can make forum posting? I know I can use the money! What about you?

$3 is more than enough considering most people are getting paid to complain and post random things

This has come up before, but the problem is, the higher the payout, the stricter the requirements. So, say they start paying $5 for posts, then you'll need to make 50 posts or so. Then consider the money has to come from somewhere. The already plummeting reward for surveys will fall even more so that FC can retain some profit.

It's a trickier situation than can be taken at face value, but I'm all for a slight bump in the PTP reward as well.

Google JediJohnnie and May the Force be with you!

In addition to what JediJohnnie and ladavia89 said, the additional posts which would be required to reach the next higher payment tiers would consist of a lot more of the same basic one-liner posts that don't really offer anything of substance to the discussion.

The paid to post rules state: "A contributory post is one that offers some insight, makes people laugh, carries a conversation, provides information or help, or something along those lines.  It's not spam, or an attempt to make money for oneself, and it's not short or missing content.  Basically, if you post just to meet the 30 post requirement, you wont qualify."

In my opinion, there are already a lot of comments in the forums which I would consider to be in violation of the above guideline, but Fusion Cash has been pretty liberal in qualifying those when counter a user's 30 contributory posts. Although they threw in that last line, I suspect there are al lot of folks who post just to reach 30 posts, yet still get paid the $3 bonus. But I would bet that if anyone who offers thirty 5-10 word posts in a month got their $3 bonus denied they would quickly complain about the unfairness of it!  If Fusion Cash strictly interpreted that rule, I think there would be quite a few 30 post bonuses denied.

I'm all in favor of more ways to earn money, but I personally think the $3 FC pays out to everyone (considering the minimal effort that goes into some of the comments on here) is extremely generous on their part. The warning of not looking a gift horse in the mouth comes to mind here.

No one can say you posted this just to get your 30 posts, nice analysis and so true.

If you're complaining about 3 dollars for little effort, you have bigger issues to worry about

It might be a good idea to actually post to get the bonus yourself before you start suggesting higher pay.

That is a very good point. I hadn't even noticed the post count or sign up date of the OP until after reading your comment.

They are really doing great for giving you money to post, which I would have done anyways. There are some survey sites out there that you have to contribute and they give you nothing, so I think it is great the way it is now.
