    There are many weight loss programs. More important than these programs are good eating habits.
    Here are some:
                               -Avoid junk foods
                               -Eat nutritious meals
                               -Eat less calories
                               -Measure what you eat and drink-Portion control
                               -Drink water-not sodas
                               -Exercise regularly.
                                      Take advantage of good weather season:
                                               Spring, summer and fall

Some people deal with disease; which may or may not have an impact on metabolism.  It's not always as simple as cutting back on calories and being more active.

I do best when I consume protein and complex carbohydrates (certain vegetables); however, that diet doesn't necessarily cause me to lose weight.  Eventually, I need to consume some simple carbs too.

Walking is a great idea but I walked around town for 7 years when I didn't own a car.  I gained weight because I had Hashimoto's and didn't have enough money for thyroid medication.

Fortunately, I now have insurance and the prescription medication I need.   :heart:

I just started a new diet yesterday.  It is weight loss veg soup diet.  I got the things to go in it yesterday.  It is so tasty.  I have to work tonight and going to take a bowl with me for my supper.  Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe. :)

I'm on no special program to lose weight. I do need to lose some so I will cut back on snacking and hopefully will shed a few pounds.

best program is eat regular small meals  cut out pop and walk / exercise. park you car further away and take stairs.

   Re: Portion Control. Some food boxes indicate: One serving...but when you open the box,
the serving is really big. So, divide and conquer, make that serving- two or three servings instead.

my husband is on Atkins diet he has lost about 30lbs in 3 months. He wishes it was more. has arthritis so doesn't exercise. There is a low carb store that he buys from and doesn't eat any carbs like rice,white bread,potatoes,pasta.

Yes I'm currently on a weight loss program. I've been on my weight loss program since nov 1, 2016. So far I did lose some weight nonetheless I will continue to try to create my perfectly imperfect body. :in-love: :heart: :heart: :rose: :rose:

i am but not the way i intended to go on one..i have a dairy allergy...so i had to eliminate all dairy..lost about 20 lbs but it is stalled right now..

Well I'm not on any diet program, but I went to my  doctor yesterday and got on the scale and lost 8 pds. since i was there over a month ago. the nurses aide told me what my last weigh in and said i lost 8 pounds, she said i need to tell her how i did it, but it just coming off by itself, i guess taking diabetic meds may have something to do with it.

No I am not. But I saw a woman on TV who lost a lot of weight just by eating her dinner at breakfasttime, sticking with lunch at lunchtime and eating breakfast at dinnertime. She didn't change what or how much she ate, she just changed the time of day she was eating her meals.

No. Every time I start a weight loss program I only gain my weight back. Instead, I am just watching what I eat. I am trying to eat healthy food. I am trying not to let weight be the guideline. So when my weight starts to yo-yo I know it is not the food I am eating but my activities so I would step up on my activities that I like to do. it is not a program but just an inner desire to become healthier and maybe I am gaining muscle mass so my weight is coming up.  :sweat:
