I used to be afraid of animals. I am afraid of big dogs with big teeth. I am afraid of cats because there was an angry cat in the neighborhood that hisses. I am afraid to touch frogs because they are kind of slimy. I am afraid of squirrels because they are wild animals. I do not get close to the wild animals. However, I do not hate them. I would not want anything bad to happen to them. I am not as afraid of animals now because I understand them better.  It is the same thing with anything new but there are those that truly go out of the way to do mean things to animals. And I just do not get it.

I'm afraid of any animal, When I was small I saw my cousin get bit by a German Shepherd and since then I am afraid of Dogs. I don't care for other animals either.

I don't like frogs because I just don't.  I am not afraid of any of them.  Not really.  Although I will say I was a little skittish when I went out to get in my truck on morning to go to work and there was a black bear in my back yard.  haha

One thing is for sure if you treat an animal cruelly, they will be cruel and vicious.  But, most animals both domestic and wild will respond to kindness and not harm you - of course, that doesn't mean that a lion or tiger or such that has been pulled from its original habitat and caged will be gentle.  Common sense still reigns!!!

I love all animals but one nasty kitty who for what ever reason hates me for trying to help him out of a jam. Was baby sitting him while his family was gone and he's gotten tape stuck to him and he went all nuts on me while I tried to help him out, he attacked one lady before me and she ended up with having to go to the hospital  so it wasn't just him being a jerk over the tape. He's just a jerk, I watched her kids last summer and the cat had to stay in the bathroom, i live next door so i would go to my house if i needed.  Pretty goofy because it's the only animal I've ever had a problem with. Back a while I befriended a 2200 pound bull who followed me like a puppy and we nicked named him yard bull  he's hang out at the picnic table with me .... I love dogs most of all and I've always had at least one since I was a little kid.

I love all animals, no matter how big/small, cute or ugly.  I agree with you that there are people who do nothing but hurt animals.  All I can say is that they better never run in to me.

I used to have a cat a couple years ago, but since we moved i don't have any, moved into a neighborhood with lots of cats and dogs, they tend to be irritating. never did like them walking on my vehicle.

I am afraid of animals too. But I do love animals just like a kid-hearted person. I hate pain and germs, animal really don't like to be sick. People don't have to be mean disrespectful to animals.

I grew up on a farm with many animals. I didn't have the option to be afraid of them. I was on a horse from the time I was 2 and had to feed the pigs(some were huge) but never ever thought about being afraid of them. When I was 3 a rooster came after me (that was pretty scary) but my brother was close by so we had chicken for supper. Not meant to be funny, but I have had my share of frightening things with animals, but had to lea. rn to accept things and still take care of them. Including the cats and dogs. We even had a hunting dog that growled at me every time I was near it, but I still had to feed him.
I have many animals now and love all of them. I am grateful that I had to deal with animals when I was young to know how to deal with them now.

I love animals, especially dogs and cats.  I feel sorry if you are afraid of them, you are missing on unconditional love from them.  The only animals I'm not crazy about are reptiles, my niece has a snake and there is no way I want to touch it much less let it crawl around my neck.  So yes, I'm afraid of that but I don't consider snakes a domestic animal.

I love all animals.  I'm always rescuing the wounded, the homeless, and the sick.  I tried to save a rat once that I found in the parking lot by the library.  I brought him home in a box and attempted to feed him and give him water.  He didn't make it.

I have always had cats but our last one died a few years ago. I love animals and I miss having a pet very much sometimes.

I am a huge animal lover. I love all animals. You do have to be cautious though. Animals are amazing.
