My children are grown now but I do remember not having many times that we were alone when they were young. I use to like it ok but I missed them when they slept off.

I hope you enjoyed the time. I don't have kids or a husband. I know it is not the same for me but my house can be loud, hectic, and difficult to get alone time with the entire house. I get alone time in a different way in my room but not the same either.

My husband and I have alone time a lot since we are retired. Out of three children, two no longer live with us and the third is on a later schedule than we are.  Nice being able to go whatever we want when we want, but I do like it when we are all together at times. The next time will be for a family wedding and I'm looking forward to that.
