Cloud-Based Services for storing important files
« on: June 07, 2017, 07:31:53 pm »
Where do you store your files?

I have a lot of my favorite photos on Facebook and Facebook is a lot like a cloud service because I can access those pictures from any computer.

Some other Cloud-Based Services include:

DropBox
Google Drive
OneDrive
SugarSync

I know OneDrive and Facebook are free but not sure about the others.  I also have an external drive on my keychain that I can take with me.

Have a great day!

I'm a big fan of Google Drive. It's super easy for me to drop files into my Drive.

I am not savvy with file storing. Believe I need a tutorial or something to learn how it's done.

Yes, I use dropbox and use an apple storage for all of the pictures on my iPhone.
Have a wonderful day!

Dropbox is pretty good, especially if you spring for the paid version. Google drive is convenient but I always worry about not feeling like I have total control over files once I put them up there. I'm not sure you can ever fully delete anything. But as long as you're not uploading anything sensitive, it's good.
