When is the last time you went to the ocean?

I went to Sarasota Florida to visit my daughter once, and that's the closest I've ever been to reaching/approximating the ocean.

I live on a coastal town, so I can head to the ocean any time I want. It's just less than a ten minute walk from my place.

I've never been to the ocean in my life. I grew up so sheltered, and I don't have the desire to travel either.

It has been about 6 years since I went to the beach.  I am about ready to go back now.  I just retired 5 weeks ago and am enjoying being at home all the time.  Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

For me it is only about an hour and a half to two hour drive away but I just haven't gotten there in about 5 years.  Hoping that I will be better off finance wise this year so that I can take a vacation

It's been about 5 years. I used to see the Pacific regularly because my sister lived in CA for about 20 years and in Hawaii about 5 years.  She died this past year.  If I ever see the Pacific again, it will remind me of her and bring back some wonderful memories, although sad now too.

when I  went to panama city beach at age 14. we took a last family vacation before my father died. to spend our last moments with him.

I live on the Gulf of Mexico which isn't really an ocean but close enough. I rarely go to the beaches on the other side of Florida so I haven't been in ocean water for quite some time

Not fond of swimming in the ocean or going to the beach. So I would say it's been years.
