They are illegal in my state unless you get a permit.  We have a city fireworks display every year.
But you'll also see stuff going off all over the city.  Apparently that particular law is not enthusiastically enforced.

I don't mind the fireworks around my house because I love to watch fireworks.  I can't go and stand somewhere and watch them so this is the only way I can see them unless I just watch them on TV.

Here is a simple one: What is your favorite color or fireworks?

They are illegal in my state my too but that doesn't mean anything.  I am so glad it is over finally stopped about 1 AM  after 4 days of it. My dogs were so freaked out that we gave them Benadryl to help calm them a little.

With an autistic daughter I really do not care for them much.

I can understand if they are doing it real late at night, but in general the argument confuses me.  After Monday comes Tuesday.  Fact of life.  So are fireworks.

I expect them around this time a year but the people in my neighborhood let them off way too late sometimes. For example, it is currently 12:48AM and July 5th and I just heard some go off. It drives my poor dog crazy. She gets scared and hides in my closet when she hears them.

I find the fireworks in my neighborhood annoying because people take it too far. I wish people would leave and go to the city to see it.
I know.

I believe there should be more regulation of fireworks within city limits. I live in the city and had to hear them every night for a week!

I believe they're illegal in my city too but people still get them.
