setbacks

can be financial.
yet, there may be emotional ones as well.
also, a physical injury can be a temporary setback.

Just had two set backs happen to me recently, but I am doing my best to stay positive and keep praying because god makes all things possible and I will get past my set backs.

Loss of my mom in 2010 and hubby in 2013 really knocked me back and had many financial setbacks over the years but now I feel like I am on the upswing.  I hope the best for each and every one of you going through difficulties.

I was just talking to my ex last night about the feeling of always being almost there.  Everything happens in its own time though, stay strong.

I don't consider them setbacks, just advancement in another direction.

I've had more setbacks in life than I care to count. But, I am a strong woman and push forward as there really is no other choice. No one ever promised life would be easy and fair lol

Accentuate the positive and learn from the negative. We hug and love our children now more than ever as they grow and learn from their mistakes on their own up in college(positive) and forgive/forget their negatives: wild parties, disrespect, poor decisions, wrecked cars/scooter, and arguments (negative). Finding more new and innovative ways to make cash (positive) paying astronomical taxes for stated, but yet to be seen, representation. Becoming more financially stable (positive) working over ninety five hours per week (negative). I believe that setbacks allow us to better enjoy and appreciate the good things in our lives. If everything were easy we would quickly become bored and have no appreciation for the things that we have.

Doesn't everyone have some setbacks in life ?   I have had several in my lifetime. But I'm still moving along in life.  I guess you just have to jump over the hurdles and keep positive.

There are too many setbacks to list that one experiences in life, and I believe the previous posters in this thread have done a great job in summarizing them. For me, many of my setbacks are financial (the more I reduce my total student loan debt, the more bills that continue to flow, particularly medical and automotive) and physical (I do a great job in losing some weight, only to regain it weeks later).

Agreed! setbacks can be anywhere. We are about to get a financial set back with both my and my boyfriends summer jobs coming to an end. we will have to find either new ways to get money in or cut back on bills. well eliminate them
