That's bad but I hear the looting isn't as bad as it was in past hurricane disasters! Texas, is doing great in dealing with the aftermath!

I remember one time someone was looting a store and the owner started knocking stuff out of people hands and chasing them away . I feel bad for texas

I agree with you that the looters should have to do cleanups for many many hours. How low they had to sink (no pun intended) to loot when their neighbors were in such awful circumstances!

I agree with those of you who would sentence the looters to community service of Clean Up and also serve time for the burglary they did.

I hate it when idiots thinks its ok to loot and steal from stores.  Owners are caught in a catch 22 and asses start looting.

It is already bad enough that Texas is going through this Hurricane Harvey, but now they are catching looters in the evacuated areas.  One of the idiots that they caught said they didn't think the police would be out for a few more hours.  Besides some jail time, maybe these dopes should have to do community service clean up too in the areas they were looting. 

Looters should be shot on the spot. I may have already commented and forgot. But anyway. It is like when a person's house burns down. Before the home owner can get back to the charred rubble to see if anything is salvageable you have frickin thieves looking thru it to see if there is anything they want.  It is not yours so leave it alone. I have NO use for a thief.

I agree! that would be a good thing for them to do, it is so sad and horrible that any time there is a tragedy of any kind the looters come out and add to those already suffering misery.

those things have been in standing water that is not very clean.
the looters can find unpleasant things as well.

Community service and lots of it would be great because there will be plenty to do for a long time.  Wearing the jumpsuit with looter and I am garbage was funny to me.
