Is everyone ready for the Hurricane that is in the path of it?..We are in SC,in the upstate...Saying we are supposed to feel the effects also..That is coming this far up..Know it will die out some before getting here..But anyone in the path,please stay safe..Evacuate if you can..Got my batteries,water,food,etc..Ready as I will ever be..Stay safe everyone...

I live in middle Tennessee and the path they say it on now we are suppose to get rain out of it.  I am praying it will turn eastward and go out to sea before it hits the USA.  Everyone pray with me.  Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

I'm in Bradenton, Florida, and it's supposed to impact us directly. I've never been in a hurricane, tropical storms, but never a hurricane.

My best friend is letting me stay at his house because he has hurricane shutters, etc. I brought my pets with me, and he has pets, and they are going to be scared.

He also has to work at the hospital (mandatory).

Add that to the fact that I cannot swim, and I am pretty terrified . . .

Feel sorry for the places that got hit more then once and hope everyone gets off easy when it reaches your area.

I live way up north, but am very sad for all the people and animals having to get displaced.

Praying because it only takes one hurricane to do a lot of damage.  I don't like storms but we can't control them so I send up many prayers.  I always leave and go to visit family or go to a hotel when one is forecast for our area.   It's not a good feeling to be in the bathroom listening to the wind howling and trees falling on the house and come out and see all the destruction.  Years ago the Lord sparred me and my boys (hubby was at work), I made up my mind I would leave on every major storm because things can be replaced but not a life.

I hope it does not wind up being as bad as they are saying. It is terrible when these things happen.

I feel bad when I hope that it veers off in another direction because then, I am indirectly hoping that another area gets it which is not what I want either.
