Working on Tasks
« on: September 21, 2017, 03:40:01 pm »

I get the first three and the last one always seems to be an issue. It's about the Location of Baskin-Robbins and call it find out when it's open. No amount of writing out the responses, it never works. It says it's the same as others. I mean, how many times can you rephrase simple English?

"Find the closest location of Baskin-Robbins and call it to see if it is open." Is one of my responses and it won't accept it. It frustrates me to no end. Does anyone have any difficulties full-filling tasks?

I'm new here. So I just started out.

Ah well I have a love/hate relationship with tasks! I HATE quiz mode and not succeeding but I  doing them, well most of them, especially ones that I don't have to complete a quiz mode for. Some of them are just downright impossible, and some are way too long for the pay. I have not attempted the one you are talking about, so I can't help you there, but I'd suggest moving on to a new one. OH! And always click on "Give up" if you don't want to go any further on one.

I did. I just decided to see if I could do it because I tried it last night. So no such luck. Oh well. That's probably why it has it's low rating.

If you find a task a bit hard just hit give up button and try something simpler.  I have been doing tasks since day one that I joined.  80 percent of my money comes from tasks.  Twice I earned over 40 dollars in one month just on tasks.  Be patient and keep trying tasks and eventually you will get it.  I have over 22,000 tasks since January and I am on level 2.  I do not give up and I keep trying.

I hope you keep trying and not get frustrated and give up   There is a lot of money to be made on tasks.  Good Luck!

I used to do mostly just tasks to earn, but after discovering Tap surveys, I do them a lot too. Videos have become kind of a joke, to me, not many are actually videos anymore and I find I don't always get paid for the ones I do.

I work on the tasks sometimes because of everything that I went through

That's very good advice for everyone - not only those attempting tasks but really any offer.  What you stated is very similar to being a survey panelist.  Not every survey will credit.  As a panelist, we don't qualify for each and every questionnaire.  So to make it happen, patience and diligence is needed.

I just did a task today that was actually more like a survey but worth 50 cents!! However, I darn near ran out of time, had less than a minute left at the end....whew! That's one thing I dislike about tasks, the time limit. Occasionally they do not allow enough time.

Haven't tried them but after reading some of the post may look into them.  I usually do all the surveys and then go on to the next site but may have to change my ways

I agree on that time limit. It's too short of a time to do any tasks. They want you to take your time, but how can you when they are short on time. I never get them, but one time I actually got one! It was so exciting but then I try another one and it says, "You're not qualified for this one." Tasks are give or take.

One thing I've learned is that if your accuracy score gets close to the cut-off, it's best for you to quit the task than to risk getting another test question wrong and be expelled from the task.  Being expelled puts a black mark on your account and makes it harder for you to level up.
