I only put them on if I don't have any lettuce (to give it a bit of a crunch). Otherwise, they aren't needed on a sandwich.

It's not eew but I prefer to eat my chips separate, and I like Doritos more so they would not go on my sandwiches.

Chips take an ordinary, mundane sandwich and turn it into a gourmet meal by adding extra flavor and texture and, of course, calories.
