Another prominent public figure has been accused of making unwanted sexual advances. LA radio host Leeann Tweeden said Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., forced himself on her and groped her while the two were on a USO tour in 2006.          PERVERT !!

Anyway, there's a lot of this going around right now.

And how many women have had to fight men off or hear their comments? For real, just be strong and shrug it off unless they actually overwhelm you with their strength, and you honestly cannot do anything but take it. Make sure you don't put yourself in a position where you can be taken advantage of by someone.

I'm sure there will be many who don't agree with my comment, but it seems there are bigger fish to fry than this sort of thing.

Yep. There are photos.  The woman was stlill in her flak jacket and helmet on their way home from a USA tour and fell asleep on the plane. He grabbed her by her "handles" and thought it was funny. He has apologized for some of the assault. He also tried to french kiss her another time. He doesn't deny these things.

There are pictures and he is taking responsibility for his actions which is more than Roy Moore in Alabama or the White House Narcissist is doing...so says every news source even, surprisingly, Fox news! I was in an intelligence briefing yesterday and a former senior management individual from the Federal Bureau of Investigation said that not only does he have to worry about his children playing too many video games but now he has to monitor all of the people in his life that are over thirty to make sure that they are not rotting their brains with toxicity from Fox news. Totally cracked up until he said that he was serious. My own parents are glued to the Fox trash all day. We ground them from watching any news during the Holidays. My father would sneak off to his bedroom to get a glimpse on his iPad. Thank heavens they are not in the car that often or I would have to do a Rush Limbaugh detoxification.

I think people shouldn't be convicted of any accusations until proven guilty, what ever happened to due process... that's why we have courts for.   Convicted through the media is not how we need to assess people's innocence or guilt.

Too many false flags & hoaxes...   like that Air Force Academy one that made all these headlines about racism & it was all fake & the "victim" was the perpetrator.    Sad.

I will not defend Senator Al Franken, he admitted it and gave a sincere apology that the victim accepted.   I do not think his actions should be a call for him to resign.  No one should be more offended than the victim.   So far there is one event.  Let's see if anymore arise.   I find what Roy Moore did to be much more offensive.   I also am irked that no one is calling for an Ethics Committee investigation of the current resident of the White House who we all heard on tape of his actions towards women.  This is not a partisan issue, it is a female issue and we should all stand together, no matter the politics.  I also am awaiting the names of congress who reports have said are known sexual harassers.   There have been many reports stating that even other male members help women avoid being around these men alone.

I am not saying he is guilty, but I think there has to be more proven before he is  pronounced guilty.  It seems like as soon as 1 person hits at it a lot jump on the band wagon.  More and more men are being accused of this . Charlie Rose just go  hit also.  It seems to be  that every man of means or stardom is guilty.  I often wonder if some women are out for the money, their 15 minutes of shame or is it really this bad out there.

Shame, embarrassment, you feel like it's your fault, you want to forget about it. I didn't report my assault right away either. But putting aside why she waited what I took issue with is that you said touching a woman's breast wasn't assault. Is that something you really believe? Are you talking about this specific case (it's still assault)? Because it shocks me to hear someone say that.
