I saw news of another gifted and talented child of twelve who wrote an opera.
she says that music pops in her head all the time.
music is one of the most precious things.

That's awesome.  I believe some people are just born with certain gifts, and it's amazing to watch a prodigy practicing his/her skills! Having the ability to compose music easily and prolifically would be such a beautiful gift.

Unfortunately, some gifted people are labelled crazy.
Look at the famous painter Vincent Van Gogh.
Look at the great legacy of paintings he left us.
He was one of a kind gifted artist.

It seems there are a lot of these child prodigies popping up.  I mean just watch those kids got talent shows.  What I find sad is once they become adults it's like no one is interested in them anymore.  Just look at Charlotte Church. Her last album was seven years ago and that after a nine year gap.  It's like they just become 'another one of those' people once they hit 16-18.  Definitely at 20 they are no longer considered 'special'.
