My laptop stinks!

I got a new laptop a few weeks ago and I can't use the camera function. I don't have enough memory and when I do record something, I can't edit it because the file gets "corrupted". I guess this is what I get for getting a $199 Laptop instead of a $400 one.

JJ for what its worth,i have a good buddy of mine that fixes them.I have bought 5 from him at $75 a piece.Plus he has stood by when ive had a problemEX...i downloaded windows 10 on 1 of them and absolutely hated it.He took it back and put Windows 7 back on it for me.He also puts the free virus program on them,gives u a mouse and a case.

I am going a few yrs having no problems.

He sells the other ones with a camera on them for $100.If there was a way to get 1 to you id gladly look into it for you.I live in NY.

I need a new computer but its because mine is old. My webcam just stopped randomly working one day, my wifi won't stay connected, several keys stick  and the battery no longer charges

 the wifi is probably the biggest issues considering it'll randomly disconnect during surveys so I end up with less money to replace it

Sounds like there something wrong with the laptop..can you still return it?  Maybe there's warranty and you can get it exchanged/fixed.

JediJohnnie sorry to hear about your laptop. I pray that it is still under some sort of warranty so that you can get it exchanged or repaired.  I just ordered two new ones so I praying that I don't have that problem.

My laptop stinks too! Though its not real new, I think I got it in 2013. It runs really slow. I almost got a new one on black friday but I decide to hold out for now and continue using this one.

My new ipad, i got in the new year was great & a month later the screen cracked! Also, my 2012 PC laptop's dying every day!😢

NMbrown,have you tried clearing the browsing data?I find that really helps with speed of comp.If you arent sure how to do it its EZ.Myself or someone here can guide you if it might help.

It could still be under warranty. Take it back to where you bought it and see about getting a fresh one. Hopefully you still have your receipt.

     What happened? Take it to your local Library and ask the librarian to help you and your computer.

That must be so frustrating, especially since you only got the laptop a few weeks ago! I guess it's not something that you can complain about to the store you bought it from or the manufacturer? Good luck with this!

Where did you find a laptop for 199 ? sorry it wont let you do what you want bummer

I have one my sister gave me, that  is about 10 years old and does good most day I have made a lot of pennies here on it.

yeah i feel your pain, sometimes you get what you paid for.  I did the same thing a few years ago, bought my self a cheap piece of crap.
