cold weather

most of our country is cold these days.
it's chilly at night out west.

It's been nice out here in So Cal.... in the low 80s and though it's been windy, it hasn't been very chilly at night, barely need a jacket.   I wish it was colder.

It's been pretty cold down here in Georgia, too, 30s and 40s. We actually had snow on Friday and Saturday, which is a big deal here. I was raised in Chicago, Illiinois, so the snow makes me kind of nostalgic!

the cold cold weather hit Kentucky Friday --yesterday it snowed here some not enough to still be there today but it snowed and it is oh my gosh cold ! today the sun is shining but still very cold ! i have spent the day in wrapping Christmas gifts and staying warm --back to work tomorrow !

We got our first freeze in 11 months Thursday night  I attended a neighborhood holiday party yet it was a struggle to get out in the cold (but well worth it for the food and company).  But we didn't get the snow activity that surprised central Texas.  It stretched into Louisiana, too.  So, they all got an early white Christmas.

In Wisconsin, the windchill was -2 a few nights ago.

It is up and down, as we go into winter.

Supposed to be getting a tad warm enough soon, and it will melt and freeze and then we do ice....groan.

I love cold and snow, but not ice.

I love the cold and the heat whether dry or humid because all it takes to be comfortable is planning. I t also helps if you're healthy and tough because we don't live in a temp. controlled dome where it's 72 degrees year round.

It got down to 6 degrees last night just north of Albany ny!

EVEN in central florida it is cold by our standards anyway.     I hate being cold even though by some of the state's standards this is mild lol.
