I really dislike spending lots of time working a survey to have them say that I didn't qualify.  I get too many of those.

I'm in "vent" mode.  I just completed a lonnnnnng survey, and like the one Bostonphil described, it was indeed interesting, thought provoking, and I spent a lot of time giving thoughtful responses.  Then I got the dreaded "Thank you for trying our survey.  Sorry, but you do not meet the study requirements." I took the whole survey, question after question, with many written responses.  Was that NOT the study?  What are they going to do with my answers?  Shred them into bits?  Okay, phew, feel better now!  Better luck next time.  Thanks, FC for a place to vent.

I had one last night that involved watching a 45 minute episode and rating it constantly. It's not something I would regularly watch so I was even more annoyed when I had to sit through it, answer question after question then disqualified after I completed.

I hate doing long surveys because sometimes you get to the end and they say you do not qualify. That sucks !

Sometimes long surveys for lil surveys turn into something bigger or lead to something bigger. Ever since seeing that happen to me more then once i don t ever disregard small incentive surves because one of them last year led to a 150 dollar gambling study and ealier this year another one led to 30 dollar cell phone video game study and another which was a travel study 30 more dollars and all of them were between 30 to 50 cent surveys to start out with

I hope to get dq'd from long surveys fast esp. when you can get excuses late in the survey "server error, quota exceeded, you don't qualify..)

I wouldn't mind doing these long surveys as much if they would tell us at the beginning how long they really take to complete.I had a Live Sample survey tonight that was supposed to take 17 minutes. It took me 60 minutes.

I think the 20 to 30 minute surveys are way to long
