Cheated out of pay on survey
« on: December 26, 2017, 10:33:31 am »
I am thinking - there have been several threads about being cheated out of pay for surveys.  I just spent 30 minutes doing a survey only to be told after the last question I did not qualify to take the survey.  Uh no, you are just mad because I said I would not purchase your product.  They want to be able to say a high number of people found it favorable.

Anyway, I am thinking, what happens when the people no longer will take your survey unless they get paid upfront?

I did make a suggestion to FC that they should make a new rule that if a person spends x amount of time or completes x amount of the survey then they should get paid and the one behind the survey can't renig and not pay you.  I am a member of another site that does it that way.  After you are so far in to it they have to pay you whether they like your answers or not.

This has happened to me a few times, and I think it is unfair. Unfortunately it seems that nothing can or will be done to fix it. After 3 or 4 questions the surveyor should know if a person has qualified to complete survey.

I really hate surveys like that. When I see it's a survey by that particular company I will stop immediately.

I just finished one, or thought I did, finally got to last page and read -  sorry....you do not qualify.  There went 15 minutes of my time.

I am about to the point I do not even bother with the surveys.  Pretty soon nobody will even do them.  FC needs to change the way they do it. Another site I am a member of if you finish the survey you get paid. They can’t decide you do not qualify.

I don't attempt to do any which say they may take more than 15 minutes to do. I hate when that happens. Makes you not want to do surveys anymore.

It doesn't really matter how long it SAYS it will take.  I have started several that say less than 10 minutes and they take at least 30.  Once I spend several minutes I don't usually quit. And after you have spent 30 minutes to an hour I usually forget how much I was suppose to get paid. I need to start a log link somebody else on here said they do and write it down when I first start and what I was to be paid. Maybe that would be something good to do this next year. lol

I have had money removed and it is not fun. It doesn't happen often.

That's happened to me. They ask you a zillion questions, some repeating themselves, and 30 minutes later you find out you didn't qualify. I got that a lot with Inbox Dollars but I've had more success with Ipsos Isay surveys.

I just did one that was almost 2.00 and it was 20 mins in and I just did the feedback part(99-100 percent)   and then it goes " internal error. So I believe some are scams and don't pay but want your info and input.

This wasn't removed.  I completed the survey and then was told I didn't qualify to take the survey.  It had not happened in a long time.  And the being paid and then revoked has not happened in a while.  You are right - it is not fun.

If it is still the pre-qualifying questions that ain't as bad as if you do the survey and they have your answers and then kick you out or refuse to pay because you know they will still use your answers.  I use to do Inbox but wasn't making any money so finally quit.  I do the other you mentioned.  It is hit and miss.  I do okay there.  This one was the best for a long time.  Some of the other sites have changed their rules where if you complete the survey you get paid.  I have not heard from the ticket I submitted suggesting that. lol

Idk.  Over all I still like the site but sometimes I get frustrated. Use to they had the Paid to Call.  They paid $2 for each call you made.  I done really well when they had that.

There should definitely be some kind of payment to users who attempted to complete a survey. I used to be a member of a survey site that paid $0.10 even if you immediately ended up disqualifying for a survey. At least that's something so you don't feel like you totally wasted your time!  :sad1: :confused1:
