Pastries and sweet rolls !

    I love pastries! In a cold winter day, pastries are ideal companion with
coffee, tea or hot chocolate. But I choose carefully because I try to avoid
high calories, too much fat and sugar. I prefer flaky croissants.

 I really never liked pastries or sweet rolls. We would have them occasionally when I was growing up. They are way too sweet for me now and I really don't like them

Oh my do I love pastries and sweet rolls. They taste very good. Some times I have them with a cup of coffee or warm tea. I sure would love one now though!

I don't have much of a sweet tooth anymore but when I do I love warm danish with melted butter, yummy.

Cream Cheese Danish is my favorite although I do like Cinnamon rolls too. Oh so good.

I love butter rolls especially when they are home made.  Delicious.

WOW! Who doesn't like those? I could eat them all day long along with Boston Crème donuts and coffee from Dunkin' Donuts. Plus have five more pounds show up on my bathroom scale the next day.

I love a good sweet roll, but without the nuts, can't eat them all the time it will make me gain to much weight.

I do enjoy them once in while and pecan rolls are my downfall but try not to keep sweets in my house as husband goes overboard with them.

I love pastries with coffee. Unfortunately I am now dieting so I won't see these goodies in a while.

That's one thing I'm not that into really.  Most pastries to me feel just fluffy with no substance.  It's like eating cotton candy in a sense, even though I enjoy cotton candy.  But you know how it just melts away and you don't really get anything aside from the sugary taste, that's how most pastries are for me but I don't even really like the sugary taste they provide.

There used to be this cider mill in my state that made these apple fritters that were amazing.  It was a heavy dough, so eating half a fritter made you feel full.  It was so nice because I knew I wasn't over indulging in sweets with them while with donuts I could probably eat a whole pack if I wasn't pay attention because I just never feel satisfied.

I love them all!  Homemade is best, bakery second, and Little Debbie in a pinch.

I love butterscotch krimpets from Tastykake. I also love Drake's Ring Dings.

But yes, I love going to a bakery for sweet rolls, especially glazed donuts.

Anything sweet, and I'm in!

Any day now, I am going to resemble the Staypuff Marshmallow Man!
