Brand loyalty ?
« on: April 04, 2018, 09:48:11 am »
Are brand loyal or do you buy whats on sale ?  I'm loyal to Hellmann's Mayonnaise and Campbells Cream of Mushroom soup to name a few . I had got some cottage cheese, the store brand as it was on sale and WOW was i shocked how different it was from my go to brand. Won't be doing that any more I'd rather go with out, but my dog enjoyed it.

Depends on what it is.  I only buy Kraft Mayo, Heinz Ketchup, Heinz pickles just to name a few.  I will flip between a few different brands for other things.

Like Nancy5, it depends on what it is.  There are several food items we are brand loyal.  There are also other items where brand loyalty comes into play.   My husband is loyal to a certain brand of tools.  There are some clothing brands I am loyal to.

It depends on what the item is. I  do not buy certain items that are not supporting the U.S.A. meaning products  made overseas when the American product is just as good, same with other products. Just me others can do what they want. But I believe in supporting American  made products.

Why be loyal to a brand that isn't loyal to you ?  And it's a proven fact that brand names aren't necessarily better than generic and stores will sell brand names renamed as their brand,so it's one big whitewash.

There are some things that I'm loyal to, but other things if on sale I will buy.  Mustard has to be French's.  Mayo has to be Miracle Whip.

For some things I do, but it really depends on what I am buying. I have found  certain store brands that I like just as well as the brand for the same products and generally I save money with non brands, I might try something one time just to see and if it does not have the taste I want then I just go back to brand.

     Brand loyalty?
New names are introduced, competing with established brand names.
Because recipes are changed all the times to improve quality and
customer satisfaction, you have to try them and decide which one
is the best choice for you. It is a matter of personal choice.
