Do You Personally Think It’s Okay to Go Back in Time?

I personally do not. If there were such a thing as a smart device that could let me see memories in person without any video recording device or video file and not take me out of the present (which would mean I would have no way of interfering with events in the past), I indeed would want that. However, I find going back in time and not just revisiting memories for an assignment or for fun a nasty thing. Why? Because no matter how long you would stay in the past, even if for part of a day or night or for the rest of your life until eternity or anything in between, that means you’re running away from problems in the present, and anyone or anything you run away from can catch up to you any time, and you might not even know about it. You can only end a problem by solving it during the time that is supposed to be the present.

I do not but my wife does. She goes back to the night before our wedding (twenty four years ago) when I had a few too many drinks; to fifteen years ago when she got an oil change for her sports car and I blew the engine within one hour because her oil change mechanic failed to put the cover back on; to thirteen years ago when she had cancer and felt that I had something to do with it because of stress that I had caused; to twelve years ago when I responded to a female co-worker's text; to the rotten third shift job I had eleven years ago as I tried to save my business; to the decline of my business nine years ago; to the lane violation ticket I got over Thanksgiving; to the lower than normal paycheck received in February because I had strep throat and the flu for five days; to buying a ninety nine cent package of pretzels on Wednesday. Yep, not to keen on going back in time, especially when there is so much to love in the present-like my kids, dogs and 1965 Jeep CJ. My biggest skill is to want little...Henry David Thoreau.

I think it would be cool - to see what actually happened, and not what we heard has happened. I would love to be able to go back and prove that Jesus really lived too - how powerful would that be!

The great Stephen Hawking made a one hour TV program proving that it is not possible to go back in time but it is possible to go ahead in time.

I would only want to go back in time when my Mom & Dad and older brother was with me again ...I miss all my loved ones who have passed before me !!

I kind of like where i am at today but there are obviously things which I had done different. But maybe if I had done them differently other things would have gone wrong. I just wish I wasn't getting any older  . Maybe instead of going back in time we could make time stand still.

I do and I wanna be the one to go back in time, I really don't mind if what I do really does impact what happens around the world and such I just want my thing done.

If i was able to view certain things id love to.There are also some bad memories that i wouldnt want to view...bad enuff to even remember some now.

I loved the movie The Time Machine.Came out around 1960.Yvette Mimieux played Weena.Shes retired but still alive i looked up.Born 1942.She was barely 20 when the movie came out.Pretty lady.

Yes I love would to be able to go back in time and fix all the stuff that I have messed up in my life.

My life is 50/50 right now and I have certainly proven that I can stand on my own but there is 1 big mess up that I made and there isn't a day I don't regret what has happened and If I could change just that one thing my life be so much better

Im not sure, while it sounds good, Id love to see my father again, but that would change history and I might mess up something else, I might not meet other people I need in my life

I don't think going back in time means you're running away from problems.  There are many reasons to want to go back besides running away from the present.  To revisit those you have lost touch with or those who have passed.  I'd love to go back for a variety of reasons but certainly not to escape any current problems.

i'd love to go back in time to change who i introduced to a friend, she ended up marring the guy and on the same day i introduced her cousin to a friend she ended up marring  him as well ...  these two cousins married my friends  that are brothers ! And 20 years later I introduced her daughter to a friends son and they got married !!  Any way  the woman who was a 37 year friend screwed me to the wall during my moms illness and death. Funny i pretty much set the stage for her whole life and she screwed me over for money!  I'd like to really be able to change that if i could !!   AND to top it off she has huge lies on face book and pictures of me on my horses and she claims they are her  (photo shopped the face to be blurred )  Like give me a break already!!
