Did people really expect Tiger to be playing really well? He's been out for so long! Reed seems a bit of surprise and is in good position to win it all!

Thats public perception with Tiger. At least he made the cut.1st hole he played on Thurs told it all.He smashed a drive and had a wedge left.Hit it over green and made bogey.

Just watched in passing at the beautiful course in Atlanta. So gorgeous. :rainbow:

And I did see someone make a fantastic chip shot. Working too much to actually watch the game. But it can be riveting at times.

Didn't follow just heard highlights and the winner on the news.  I'm not really a golf fan.

I am not following it closely. I had to golf when I was in banking, was quite good, but really didn't get into it. I work a lot and I cherish my free time. Spending it watching golf is not very practical. We go to a golf club a few times a year and the only thing on the bar television is golf so I am a captive viewer. I would much rather be playing the game which says a lot. Even with a friend, who is a professional golfer, in a lot of opens there just isn't much excitement in it for me. I went golfing, November, in Alabama with friends, my wife, seemingless unlimited cocktails and it was bearable. Even with screwing around for the first nine holes, much to the chagrin of my party, I still shot two under par. My wife was a tad bit miffed because I was not respecting a sport that fits in with her higher society friends. same thing happens when I come in and goof around at her tennis club yet still play really well. Guess I am lucky with boring, little ball sports.
