"10 minute survey" with hundreds of clicking and typing answers are not happening for any amount. Live and learn. Actually wanted to punch my laptop screen after the  20th section.

I love those 10 minute surveys that turn into a 30 minute survey after qualifying and then they tell you it takes that long. I'm finding all surveys become monotonous after a few minutes when I qualify, which is rare. They seem to ask the same questions.

Yes. I gave up on a survey once after noticing it was going to be very long.

I don't close it right away.  I go back to the survey page and click on the survey again and most of the time I at least get the penny for being DQ.  If this doesn't work then I close out of it.

I hate the ones that don't fit the page and you have to scroll both across and down to answer
or  the ones with 500 check offs on one page.

The ones with the 500 check offs are obnoxious. They tell you not to rush through your answers and to not randomly click multiple check off answers.  So when I get to the screen you describe, I just look for the box to close out the survey tab.

And also the ones you mention that require vertical and horizontal scrolling... then they have specific responses that you are to check off, but the scrolling moves the responses off the screen as well, so you have to scroll up and down to be sure you are clicking in the right column.

Those are both very poorly designed surveys and I am sure that they get a lot of inaccurate response information (from those who choose to sit through to completion).

There have been times I've told myself to just keep going since I've already invested a ton of time. Then I get DQ'd at the very end....
