Eid al-Fitr

I'm not trying to be insensitive or xenophobic, but why do I have to have islamic holiday notices on my iphone when I've selected OFF in the Settings>Calendar>Alternate Calendars?  My choices there include: Off; Chinese; Hebrew; Islamic.


So if I've asked to have none of these added, why am I reminded every time I check my calendar for various appointments today that it is Eid al-Fitr all day today?

Todays electronics can't always be trusted.  I would be frustrated too! :confused1:

That's one of the reasons we never got a better phone. No text data, no internet, no calendar, no nothing. Boring but peaceful. Never even set up our answering greeting either. We let the phone tell the person we have it but it's not set up. No spam or scam.
