Cake or Pie?

Do you prefer eating a cake or pie and why?

Pie is so much better and lighter to eat.  I love crust of a pie

The only two pies I really like are pumpkin and Peacan.  I also don't care for piecrust. So I would have to say I enjoyed eating cake more than pie.

That is hard one.  I like pie, but hardly ever have it.
I like many kinds of pie:  apple, cherry, fresh strawberry, lemon meringue, pecan, strawberry rhubarb, pecan.
I like a good crust.  I like fruit pies with ice cream.

Like both but only certain types.  Chocolate cake with Chocolate Icing and Cherry Pie

I like them both. It depends on the flavor. But if I want something less expensive, then I go with pie.

I like cake the best because it goes so much better with ice cream. I like pie too, just not like cake.

I love both pie's and cake's  ! I crave more cake than pie though. Must be because of the frosting that's on the cake's. Some cakes are to good to pass up not eating them!

I love both but prefer pie. Particularly a nice just-out-of-the-oven apple pie with ice cream. Yummy! Nothing wrong with a nice big piece of fresh carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, though.

It would depend on what kind of both! I enjoy both cake and pie!!

That’s hard, I love chocolate cake with chocolate or cream cheese frosting.  But give me a apple pie with crumb topping...yum

Cake (I'm a professional cake decorator) so naturally I''m inclined to go with Cake.  However I do enjoy my piece of the pie.  Wait isn't that lyrics in the "Jeffersons theme song."
