RIP Steve Ditko
« on: July 22, 2018, 11:43:10 am »
The Co-creator of Spider-Man, Steve Ditko passed on a few weeks ago at 90. He was something of a recluse. He co created Spider-Man (I.E. drew him first) with Stan Lee in the 60's.

A disagreement between them over the direction of the strip caused him to leave Spidey, but he also had a hand in creating several other heroes such as Dr Strange, Blue Beetle & The Question.

A creator never gets old because they keep themselves young by keeping their minds fresh. thus a long life.

I've heard of the name, but not necessarily the person, have watched Spider-Man.

Wow! These legends live to be well into their 80's and 90's. They had a good life. RIP!

I was definitely taken aback by the news when I first heard it. He went about his business in a quiet manner but his contribution really is legendary. This is one of those times when the word actually means something.
