I love to watch American Pickers on the History channel to see some of the old that are now collectables.  What do you think of the show?

Never watched... but sounds like it'd be fun to see what they find.

I like watching the show for the interesting stuff that they find. I don’t like the fact that they always seem to be taking advantage of people.

I love watching that show, like seeing things of the past.

I used to love to watch this show but haven't seen it since we cancelled our cable.
Have a wonderful day!

I love it!  I don't think Mike and Frank take advantage of anyone (like someone else suggested).  I have watched many times when someone told them the price they wanted and they would say "you're light on that" and offer them much more.  They are always honest explaining why they can't pay retail price.  I love the show.

I agree, I like that they don't take advantage and I've seen them offer MORE money to people who asked too low. I also like that they have respect for the history of things they buy, and seem concerned with keeping it in the area if it's a locally important artifact. They are always looking for a bargain of course but that's the nature of the business and the sellers generally know that.

Exactly, I've seen them donate items back to museums so it can be appreciated by the masses.   Also the episode where they purchased an antique car and he promised the man once he had it running he would bring it back and give him a ride.  Unfortunately the man died so once they had the car restored he drove it back to show the widow.  He took her for a ride and she brought a picture of her husband.  It was such a touching episode.
