Wow, they have a national day for just about everything these days but I gotta say .. National Dessert Day ranks in my top 5 favorites.

I ended up having leftover pumpkin cheesecake. I don't normally have dessert in the house, but had some leftover from a weekend party.

They have a national day for almost everything you could think of. I have to skip desert though because I have been eating desert for the past two weeks. It is time for me to get on track with eating healthy.

How many national days are there ? or all just made up ? I find it hard to tell which ones legit or not anymore with so many.

Almond joy cheesecake sounds amazing.  I work today.  In a bakery - so getting desserts is easy.  However I've really limited myself to sweets.  In face most of the time when I eat something sweet it's been a sugar free thang I make.  In face I'm due to make that sugar free peanut butter cheesecake.

I have six different kinds of cake in the fridge, so I'm covered...but no chocolate covered insects for me.

When I was in elementary school my friend's dad tried to talk me into eating a chocolate covered insect of some kind - they had gotten a box of them as a gag gift at Christmas but they were real I can't remember at this point but I doubt I did eat one bcfz I was so funny about food much less insects LOL

If I were to make a desert, it would be brownies with walnuts. Unfortunately, I don't have all of the ingredients at the moment.
