Halloween -- Who is dressing up?
« on: October 29, 2018, 01:45:03 pm »
I usually wear some Halloween accessories (earrings, scarf, etc), but I am not into costumes (for me) -- I love it when others get into the spirit and go all out.  Who's dressing up this year?

We don't dress up for Halloween, my church have Hallelujah night for the kids, we don't have them dressing up with non religious costumes.

I m not dressing up. I would like to but I don't have time to put together a DIY costume for Halloween and I am not going to spend $50 on a costume made from cheap materials.

My youngest daughter, age 30+ has already been to two Halloween parties.  For the first she dressed as a Ninja with only her eyes showing out of the all black costume.  For the second, she was Raggedy Ann.  She shredded an old red T-shirt for Raggedy's hair and pinned it to her own hair kinda like extensions.  It had a great effect!  We never dressed up when I was growing up past the age of 12.  I never remember my parents wearing costumes, but for today's big "kids," it's all the rage!

I'm not dressing up for Halloween... I will wear some knee-high socks that are Halloween themed though, that's about all I put in to my personal Halloween attire for the day :)

Apparently I might have to dress up since we'll be hosting 11 kids marching out for trick or treating. I should just put on a suit.

Dressing up as Courtney Love from the 1990s! Mostly because I can piece it together using things I already own. lol But it should be fun. Because I've gone out the last 2 halloweens, I'm kind of looking forward to just being in costume, watching movies, taking pictures, etc. Will be handing out candy as well.  :)
