Exercise equipment
« on: January 13, 2019, 10:01:22 am »
Do you have exercise equipment that you need to get rid of? That maybe unused and taking up space in your home. I am thinking about getting rid of a large piece of equipment that is unused and taking up a lot of space.

Had a elliptical machine that we tried selling at a garage sale for 2 years in a row and no offers.  Was about 7 years old so we finally just took it apart and my husband took it the scrap yard with the other metals and recycled cans that we collected.  Got a few bucks for it but at least it is not in my basement any more

lol.  How are you going to get it if the person lives on the other side of the country?  Things like Elliptical would be very expensive to ship.  I have some that needs to be used more. haha  But hanging clothes on them counts as using them.

If you have Facebook most towns have a county yard sale page that is usually a closed group or at least the one here is.  I would ask the same question on there.  You may find somebody in your town that has one.  Some newspapers (local) will also have a section where you can advertise something like this for free.  You could do an ad and say you will come pick it up.  Some people may say you can have it if you will come get it.  Or look at craigs list in you area.  I have head they have a section that is give it away if you will come get it.

No not anymore.  I did have a stepper, but I gave it away.  I also had a stationary bicycle and I gave that away also.  I don't have enough space to have the equipment anymore.

Me personally, no. I've got nothing. But my parents have had this old stationary bike sitting in their bedroom that has been there for as long as I can remember. I don't think anyone has even moved it in years. I'm not sure if they will ever get rid of it.

:)     ;D      :)   I don't own any exercise equipment. I go to the gym if I need some exercise equipment to work out. I don't have a room for this kind of equipment. I used to have some, but that was years ago.  :)      ;D     :)

My garage houses my gym.  I have just about everything you need.

I have a treadmill that I used to use all the time. Now that my daughter is old enough to stay home while I run I don't use it anymore. At some point I should get rid of it.

Honestly, I never used exercise equipment.  I stay active by walking and doing jobs around the house.  Staying physically fit, in my mind, never required any machine.  My grandfather lived to 96yrs and never used one in his life.  He was a blue-collar man who worked with his hands and after he retired he did yard work and helped inside like stack the frigid and take out the trash.  He even helped vacuum.  It's really about movement.  I don't think it matters how you move as long as you do.

I have no equipment to get rid of. I actually would like to buy some equipment, but not much space for anything that is large.
