I got a recent email that google +is shutting down after april 2nd because there is not enough people that use it. I can understand that because I have a google + page and I use it about twice a week.

I saw that this morning.  I got the email a while back but didn't see it.  I hate how the google emails are split in to 3 categories. Just put them together and let me decide what I want to look at.  I never really used the
Google + so it is not a big deal.

In Gmail settings you can turn off the other categories and just use Primary. I did that right away. I hated the categories the moment I saw them.

Google Plus I guess I haven't heard about till now.  Saw that it breached security issues and user information was  exposed.  Starting to think that the less social I use, the better.  Can't be too safe.

I know about it, but very few people use it. It kinda stinks for you, but Google is not going to keep spending money to maintain a platform that not enough people use.  There are plenty of other social media platforms to use.

I had to laugh when I heard that. I'm in the web business and I know hardly anybody ever used Google +. I never even looked at it myself, it seemed confusing.

I will look at that.  Just put all my emails in the same place. I didn't know I could do that.

I remember it was supposed to be the new/next Facebook.  I never got into it.  I guess it turned into the new/next MySpace instead.

If you hover over the email address that the email comes from it will show you WHO sent it.  If it is SPAM it will not be from "google" or whoever is suppose to be sending it.

I also got the email. I must have signed up for it at some point, but I certainly don't actively use it.

I am pretty sure you had the account when you signed up for a google email. Most people didn't use it.
