When are you an adult?

I'm thinking i was at 17 because i was building a house and had a 20 loan  to pay on.  And paid it off at 34 ,   20,000.00   loan  and sold  it  for 285,000.00   30 years later

Well, there is the legal definition of being an adult and then there is when you are actually an adult.  I think different people arrive at "true" adulthood at different ages because of what they have been through and how they have handled and learned from it!

WEll, the simple answer would be when you actually ACT like an adult! lol. But legally they call you an adult at age 18 although I see a lot of 18 year olds that act more immature than my 13  and 12 year olds!

You are an adult when you become wise enough to work a job, make decisions that are positive, take care of yourself etc.

Legally it's 18, but I don't know many that age that can take care of themselves most are still living at home.
