Good advice to get to a dentist to be evaluated

I've gotten a pus filled "pimple" on my gums & it turned out to be an infection under one of my teeth with a cap on it -- it needed a root canal or be pulled.  The tooth didn't even hurt when the dentist tapped it or at any time, just that "pimple".

I don't think I've ever had a pimple on my gums but i'm sure the dentist can help.

I'm neither a doctor or dentist but I would say you may have an infection that has now come to the surface and you should treat with tea tree oil or even better an antiseptic oral product.  I would do that for a few days, and if it doesn't start to seem better, becomes more painful, or any other symptoms appear, I would go to the dentist.
