I would love too but here in VA all we've gotten is rain.  It's maybe one day or half a day of sun then a week worth of rain.

I would love to grow my own garden, but it takes time and some money to get started. I am a single mom and I barely have time to shower sometimes, but having your own garden is much healthier. It is also an exercise.

The problem is soil and temperature based on where you live.  Not every place is the right place for vegetables.  My younger brother tried that once and could only get tomatoes and cucumbers to grow and the following year, nothing.

I almost forgot I had some spinach seeds from last year.  I'm just going to plant them and see what happens.  Growing food isn't as easy as it seems.

I didn't grow up in a gardening family so it would be a whole new learning project for me.   :-\

It would be nice but I'm just too lazy & I tend to kill plants.

I miss having a garden. I live in an apartment now, so it's no longer an option. I was briefly considering one of those indoor gardens, for small vegetables or at least herbs. I'll have to do some research. Otherwise, I plan to hit the farmers market this summer.

I am pretty much like you, and I have also noticed I am plant-challenged because I can kill almost anything off.  I also detest lawn work!  Always have!!  I am very sun sensitive, meaning it can make me feel a bit sick and tired after a short time in it and I burn easily.  I would just have to try a rather small container garden.  I've thought about it!

I have not had a garden in years but now I have a yard and I can plant some veggies this year. I am looking forward to it.

I will tell you this, after being around farming my whole life, what I can say is it is pure dedication. Most people who I have have know don't have what it takes too keep up with a garden and I am talking about a little flower bed deal not what my father has.

Gardens are good for you if that is your thing, but not me. A lot of work.

I usually grow a patio garden every summer but this year I will be travelling quite a bit and don't really have anyone that will tend to them on a regular basis.  I don't want to see dead dried up weeds when I get back so I'm passing it up this year.
