I guess its not proof enuff for you Hitch,Drutts and myself have over 700 TYs in around 6000 posts. That proves many have understood us.Sorry if you havent.I know we arent all perfect but our effort is always there.
It's not about "proof", although I'm not in complete agreement that just because someone thanked you is 'proof' that they understood. It is evidence that other people like what the three of you have said, but the sheer number of thank you's doesn't explain away my effort to try to understand, but inability to follow your logic at times.
Also, not that it matters, but Drutts and Hitch were the exact same person. There is evidence of that in the forum. There is no hard proof that YOU are the same person, but you have many similarities in your personality and writing style to theirs. Regardless of that - I am trying to understand what difference it makes how many thank you's the three of you have collectively received to any discussion about my difficulty in understanding you - singularly - the user named Donnamarg323.
You know how i felt RE Hitch being banned for supporting JW.org.CG and JJ had much to do behind th scenes with that.We have been more then blessed exposing them in the forum with other members and havent missed a beat.We have brought up JJ time to time when the need for it has come up,but he left 7 months ago and you can count the posts on 1 hand where we have spoken of him.He banned himself cos the child didnt get his way in the candy store.Yes i know some of it had to do with FC earnings hasnt been as good but im convinced he cried over spilt milk.
CG chooses to still be here and we will forever set her azz straight on what she is out of truth and yes we consider ourselves clever and entertaining too.
I always told i had no problem with you if i spoke the truth RE christendom.I compared it with having friends that are gay but i dont agree with their lifestyle.
I despise liars and injustice. You got that from CG and JJ.
Like I said, your issues with JJ and CG are well documented. And I didn't mean to open up old cans of worms there. I merely brought it up in response to your remark to me (I am paraphrasing here) to "just go away and ignore me".
I won't rehash what I said before about my feelings on using the ignore feature - but just that I raised JJ and CG in order to prove my point about the futility of ignoring.
IMO your political and nationalistic views are a bit too much from someone who claims they are a xtian.Ive put up proof from the bible what God and Jesus think of this world.
That is your opinion and that is fine, but I am going to say that I do not believe my social, economic, or political beliefs are in any way in conflict with my Christian beliefs. I know some might disagree. Your religion and my religion differ a great deal on some of those matters. That doesn't make either of us a bad person - so I hope you aren't getting that vibe from me. Your decision to not vote is based entirely (or predominantly) on the JW teaching. My decision TO vote is based largely upon my Catholic Church's teaching. You can tell me that I am wrong, but according to my faith - I have a duty to vote. Your JW biblical proof is an interpretation of the scriptures, but it is not the decisive interpretation of the scriptures to the exclusion of any other possible interpretations. Again, I don't expect you to concede that point. And I don't mean to insult you with this remark, but I do not believe that JW always interprets everything correctly - especially when taking one verse here or there as determinative of an entire debate. That doesn't mean that I do not believe in the bible just because I see some things differently than you do. And that is the impression I've gotten from you or Drutts or Hitch many times over - UGetPaid doesn't believe in what WE say the bible says - so he doesn't believe in the authority of the bible. That is not the case.
When it comes to public policy and political issues, there are some points where my religion trumps the Republican platform, but generally speaking - I feel that the Republican party is more in line than the Democrat party in keeping with my religious beliefs. It is not a neat little box where I agree with everything Donald Trump does or everything that the Republican ticket espouses. But as I have justified many times before in these forums the hypocrisy and double standards are so lopsided in favor of the Bidens, Obamas, and other D's that it gets quite infuriating.
Ill be the first we all arent perfect, but i can say our posts are based on truth, humor, etc. We also are very sensitive to injustice and we display when we are but try to do so in a manner that is acceptable.
I also think JW.org does a GREAT job explaining the bible. As you know i defend it strongly when others mock it.
Not sure i covered everything.Thanx for listening.
Thank you for explaining. You know, we often disagree and get into debate mode, but we also often end up back in this position of guarded understanding.
Look. I will be the first to admit. You have a strong faith and I've said before and will say again that I respect that, even when I don't agree 100% with it. I am again going to tell you that *I* have a strong faith as well.
I will concede another point. I am not well versed enough to debate every specific scripture issue, which is why I usually do not engage in that exercise here. Your JW.org site has specific references to different specific questions. I do not have the personal grasp at my fingertips of all Catholic resources to make all of the fine tuned counterpoints. That doesn't automatically make me wrong.
I do attend a weekly bible study with other men of my local Catholic community where we discuss the scriptures for the upcoming Sunday Mass. Many viewpoints are discussed and most of the time I am more of a listener than a contributor. I also listen to several Catholic apologists on the radio on a regular basis who have a much better grasp of the scriptures and the Catholic tradition than I do. Tim Staples and Jimmy Akin do a fabulous job discussing the truth about the Catholic Church and the many lies and misconceptions about the Catholic Church that are out there. I am not programmed to speak with the same eloquence and authority as these men have been blessed to do. If you have the spare time, I would invite you to visit catholic.com and seek out the Catholic Answers podcast for a better understanding of what I believe.
UGP,in your case being the Catholic religeon supports the trinity, just think of Hitch,Drutts and myself the same way.
I always told JJ rather then debate me RE the bible he was comp literate enuff to go on JW.org and see how they explained the bible.
He wanted to debate. That shows it was more important for him to be right or disagree with something he didnt support.Thats fine.He took it to another level and said Hitch ran roughshod over the forum and JJ persecuted the JWs with his tongue.
CG the same way.....but more sneaky and used internet to try to find out more of the person. All she had to do was ask me for my phone #.....We have nothing to hide....she does.
I honestly wouldnt give her my # anyway.Liars cause trouble and i dont trust her.But we had no prob saying we live in NY.Shes the paranoid one and one usually feels that way cos she knows deep down inside she *isses many off and afraid someday one might retaliate........hence shes incognito and hides behind keyboard but yet thinks shes going to heaven....LOL!!!!
God says in the bible more then once that earth will be inhabited forever and the righteous will inherit it.
It also says that 144000 of mankind will rule from heaven with Jesus after God sends the Satanic system to oblivion.
Yet so many think they die and go to a heaven or hell. The bible supports NONE of that like it doesnt support Xmas as another example.
I also invite you to JW.org knowing you are comp literate to bible truths and answers to questions.
Thank you.
