So I guess you can say im the black sheep in my family i used to be the favorite but not for the right reasons as i grew up and realized what i did for my family and seeing how my significant others family is it makes me feel like.. wow i have never seen someone give so many hugs and etc or congratulate you for the right things. I have my days but having that one special person i guess you can say it makes life worth living sure we have our bad days and test each others limits but its what pushes us to strive and do better for ourselves and others.

Family is everything.  We grow up in one atmosphere and then marry and learn about someone else's life growing up.  The two together, put the good pieces together and create an atmosphere of your own.

Family is important, however family can be toxic. Sometimes you can be a good person but its that one family member that just pushes your buttons so that's when you separate yourself. Love from a distance.

I certainly understand where you must be coming from............I look back now and realize so many things that were totally messed up about my family but it is pretty much all said and done now as my mom and dad are both deceased and I am estranged from my brother and sister.  And I am fine with it all and have come to grips with it all the best I can any way.  I am glad you have a "new" family.
