3 countries warned against traveling to US

News headline didn't read further because it ticked me off because I am sure one was Mexico - get real how many US travelers get murdered in Mexico.  I don't travel outside the US and I don't travel outside my city in fact I don't go outside my house if I can help it.  The world is evil and what country is immune from it?

I saw the headline on my news feed yesterday.  I didn't have time to get past the headline because my husband and I were on our way to the Kingdom Hall for our meeting.  I didn't look for the article when I did have time so I just let it go.  I'm sure I'll be hearing more about it in the days ahead.

LOL  Seeing as how one of the countries is Venezuela where they are shooting their own people in the streets, after they disarmed them, and are starving them to death, AND refusing to let people leave the country to try to get to somewhere that they can maybe get something to eat or not be killed....

Nothing more than click bait.  It is 3 countries that have listed supposedly some of the more dangerous cities in America.  And they are encouraging their people not to travel to the US because it is too violent here and they will be shot because we are all a bunch of racist bigots. LOL  Pretty much what I got out of the article.  Pretty much just an article to incite anger and further fuel the hate that is infiltrating our world right now.  Something has got to change.

I don't remember but do not think one was Mexico.  And no they are not going to tell their people not to come to the US.  This was a crime against humanity.  Not a hate crime.  The shooter in El Paso was not targeting hispanics only.  He shot whomever he could.  Who ever got in the line of fire.  Of the 22 that died only 7 were mexican.  So there were more non-mexican that have died. 

People need to think when they hear and read news stories.  The media is against us.  And the sole purpose of most news stories is to breed anger and hate.  People need to wake up and see what is happening while they have us all focused on non-sense like this.  It is scary to think how bad things are going to get.  But this world is in a downward spiral out of control and I fear we aren't going to be able to turn it around this time.  There is too much hate and too much anger.

It's not only sad that they have to warn their citizens about traveling to the U.S., but I think seeing articles from my friends abroad (not US citizens) about the president is equally sad.

I don't believe 100% of what I see in the media or on the internet, but it's obvious we have some changes that need to be made.

Our whole world is sad.  People are so full of hate.  I feel safer in the US than I would in any of these countries that are saying not to come here.

I don't believe any of what is in the media any more.

I do not  think there is any reason to put warnings out saying the US is not safe.  It is safer here than any other part of the world.  Or just as safe.

It's sad and disgusting that any country who classify us as a country not to visit.  How can you compare us to Iran, North Korea, Libya, Sudan, Iraq, and the list goes on.  Yes we had two terrible shootings but I believe the United States is still a safe country.

I did not see that headline but I will definitely have to check it out.  I'm curious as to what it says.  I live in the US and I feel safe but I also live in the suburbs, not a big city.

I have not read anything about it but I would not travel now anyway even within the US. I am afraid to go to the store anymore.

I was at work when I over heard a few girls bashing the president over what some other countries had said.  I tried turning it off because it just upsets me.  I have seen and heard the worst ignorance come out of some people when it comes to worldly views.  If I were to voice my opinion with hatred as they do everyone would just be rioting against one another.

I agree with you.  I worked on a job for a while that was basically contract labor and 2 guys came in to the office area and where I was and bashed Republicans and Trump every morning.  And they done it to upset me.  I was not an actual employee of the company so not a lot I could do but try to ignore it.  The more I tried to ignore them the worse they got.  There was another woman in the area and she would go with who ever was talking.

I would say a little but mostly tried to ignore them.  They are stupid.  They are for socialism and one world government.  Not a lot of hope for either of them.  And if I voiced my opinion and caused problems I would have just been released and someone else brought in.  I am just so tired of all the stupidity of the people in this country.

I disagree.  Nobody cares about ads.  I see news stories online all the time and never notice an ad.  But I do notice the headlines which are basically click bait, then stories that like I said are there only to breed anger and hate!  And it is working.

And just for the record I do not pay attention to any ads on tv or the internet.  And usually when I see stories that are obviously untrue and just there to cause more unrest I am less likely to view anything from that source.
There are some news sources (and to avoid a fight here I won't say what they are) but I will not listen to anything that is from them.  And if I see it is from them I will skip it and pay no attention to it at all.

The 3 countries are Japan, Uruguay and Venezuela. It's laughable because there's a lot of violence in those 3 countries, even in Japan who have strict gun control, but they get hit with sarin gas and suicide bombers and knives..

Then there were warnings from Bahrain and the UAE because they're Muslim countries and the Bahamas because they're black. Bahamas government says because the police are killing the blacks. Well maybe if blacks wouldn't do the crime and follow the police orders and not shoot at the police, they wouldn't be shot. Adrenalin is horrible in cases like this. Plus, statistics show that there are more whites killed by police than blacks. Media doesn't tell you that. As for Muslims, why would they be afraid? They are the most "protected" religion in the country.  They have their neighborhoods where no one is allowed to go, in the U.S. and in England and Germany. But the governments look the other way with the crimes. 

 If I sound racist, I'm not. I'm giving facts. I hate the way the media is pushing the hate. I try not to watch news anymore, only local, but gangs and drug dealers are creeping ever closer to my town, that were never done before. We were lucky to have 1 murder a year. There's already been 5. Sad what our country has become.
