e books

Do you delete a book after you read it?  (supposing that you read it on a tablet or a e-reader) I don't, but I'm not sure why because I never re-read them.  I usually don't throw away my paperbacks either.

It would depend on how much I liked it I suppose.

I have a kindle membership that I use on my cellular phone. I felt justified in signing up when I flew to Europe a few months ago as I knew that I would read five or six books. Now that I am back in the work groove I am down to reading only one book per month so I suppose it is time to cancel the subscription as I can buy a book for ten or eleven dollars. I am too cheap to keep a subscription for a book service when I can just as well take out a few e-books from the library. I value every cent in my life that is spent/earned and a luxury e-book service does not help me accomplish my goals even if my family pays for it. It was really nice sitting at a cafe in Poland and reading a few books...even transferring some lines to my phone's notebook but it takes away from my work focus.

I don't think I will ever read an ebook.  I am too old school for that!  I love the feel, smell, and look of a hardback or even paperback.  It just gives me a special feeling.  I have always thought I would like to work in a library. As for deleting them after being read -- that would be a real problem for me.  I feel emotionally attached after reading a book.  If it's a hard copy, I can put it on a shelf and go back to it at another time.  If I delete it from my an ereader, it is gone forever and leaves me feeling an empty spot.  It's hard to explain.

I do not read books because they are very time consuming and boring.
I however read "summaries, briefs or synopses" because they are more realistic.

No I have never deleted a book off of my Nook.  After I read the book I just keep it on the Nook.  I have never thought about deleting the books.

I have an Amazon Kindle Library online (in the cloud), so there is no need to delete them.

I like actual books. I buy many of them for my son and I. Good way to get away from the electronics and just kick back with a good book.

I delete them from my device.  They are not deleted from your account.  You can redownload them and not pay for them again.

No it isn't.  It is deleted from your device.  Not your account.  I have a few on my phone and a ton that have been deleted.  But just from my device not my library.

I don't. I always rely on it being automatically removed.

No, I don't delete e-book after I read it. I like  to remember what did I read.
