My absolute favorite survey question I have ever seen....

After spending several minutes in this survey I am asked the question.  And THIS IS EXACTLY how it stated it...

Are you afro-American?
      Yes, I am afro-American
      Sorry, I don't qualify for this survey

So why did they not say this survey is for black people and ask that question first and if you are not black kick you out then?  smh

Well I have noticed that as well.  Usually it says are you hispanic or other?  I just had never seen anything like this one.  No, I am not black. Yes, I want to take the survey.

I guess if they just straight-up told us the thing we need to be in order to qualify for the survey, they are afraid we'd all just lie. I wish they'd at least make that make-or-break question the very first one though so we didn't waste time.

Well all you had to do at that point was straight up lie.  Either say yes I am black or No I don't want to take the survey. Well I did want to take the survey.  SO it is just like well that is 10 minutes of my life I will never get back. lol

I do agree if you want hispanics from mexico in the country illegally to answer your question then straight up ask that question first and in a clear way so we know what we are dealing with.

If you want men to cross dress and pretend to be women and are between 21 and 26 years old then just ask that.  Don't play games.  Don't waste my time.

Yea that is the best one I've heard - craziness made me laugh (gotta laugh or you would cry right) I've had similar things happen but different can't think of one right now.

I done a survey on another site the other day and it said

Would you like to test a product? We will pay you for the initial survey, for 2 surveys during the test, and you can keep the product.

YES!

Oh sorry, you don't qualify.

smh  I cried a little after that.
And yeah that is about how it went down.  I was like you have got to be kidding me.

I did do another one earlier today and it said if we were to send you a product would you agree to keep it secret and test it and give your opinions.  Sure.  We will see if I get anything in the mail.

I think they insert those stupid question in  when you have already  finished up what they want and then it a way not having to pay you. Paying  1 cents is a lot cheaper then10-70 cents.  Another way of getting whaat they want without paying for it.

Sometimes I wonder if they are really paying attention to the answers we are posting.  They have a tendency to ask they same question back to back.

Some surveys have to apply to specific races. It basically means research meant exclusively for whichever race(s) or just an over quota for your race.

That is fine as long as they can have surveys that exclude everyone who is not white.  But I am sure that is against a rule.

And that question needs to be asked first.  And it needs to be pick the race you are and if you do not pick the right one you are eliminated right then.  There are better ways to word things.

I personally don't think it's about what race they should of ask you that from the beginging and disqualify you then. Why waste your time and not pay you? Surveys need to change the way they do things!
