How anyone in their right mind can like the sun pounding them in hot humid conditions is beyond me.

I dont like 10 inches of snow or 20 degrees either.

We live in Tennessee and don't have much to put up for winter. In fact, my husband uses the grill all year long, even in cold temperatures.  Our "putting up" consists mainly of putting our indoor plants back inside the house after having had a summer outdoors!

We finally cooled off. Two days this coming week with be mid-80s but the rest will be in the 70s. I only ran the AC a total of 4 days and only for 3-4 hours, usually around 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. this summer because I keep the door closed most of the day. It stays pretty cool in here.  I do love spring and fall but you can keep summer (heat and bugs) and winter (cold and snow).

My legs can't take temps less than 75 and that's a problem. It would be 85 outside, 78 in here and I've been wearing fleece sweats and covering them with blankets, although it is better than when I had my sarcoma. Couldn't stand temps under 90 and still in sweats and blankets. Poor hubby suffered then. So I'm getting better.  LOL :D

It's a little too early to put away all the Summer stuff.  There are still a few days to enjoy Summer.

Nancy, I am ready for cooler weather. lol

I am, too! I hate when it's over 90 degrees in September. ::)

I hate the though having to  put away the patio furniture and try to hold for a couple of weeks yet.  But it is getting too cool to sit in the evening.  I hate the thought of the cold and snow.  Five more years until retirement and hopefully able to move out of the Chicago land area to some place warmer

I'm so ready for spring already even though we are supposed to have 90° weather this week.  I really dread, the cold, short days of winter.  If we could only know who much snow and bad weather we would be getting, it would help.
Have a wonderful day!

I am a Summer person.  I am not ready to give up on warm/hot days.  I enjoy upper 70s to mid 80s.  Low 90s are ok for me.  Humidity doesn't seem to affect me, so I am in the minority in my family.  People comment about the humidity and I just shrug my shoulders.

Fall is nice, but I prefer no jacket weather.  As we transition to Fall, I will enjoy the days too.....just gotta get the sweatshirts out.

I think I'm just the opposite. I really prefer fall and winter, LOL! I guess I love the crisp, cool air and the holidays coming up. Of course, I live in Georgia, which is pretty humid, and that probably makes me detest summer as much as I do. I'm just hoping it gets cold enough here this winter so that I can enjoy my hot herbal teas! Last year I only got a few cups in because it just didn't get cold enough. I'm glad you enjoy those warmer months, though.  :peace:

I am with you, love spring and summer; but like you I will probably be putting away the things on our patio soon; getting ready for the unwelcomed cooler/cold season.

I love Autumn. Here in Georgia we have had an extremely hot summer. Bring on the cooler weather.

I wish miss the summer activities but not the summer heat.  I like the spring and fall because you don't have to use the heat or the air conditioning.

Funny - how we are all so unique.  I dread summer because I'm not a hot weather person and I love fall and anticipating the upcoming holidays.

Have a great day!
