What do you make of all that's going on with him? Why am I not surprised that the day after he signs with a new team that new allegations surface about something with him? So much drama....

I think it's hype to get him more money. It brings back memories of, "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee".

I've washed my hands of this cancer and am thankful that he is some other team's problem to deal with these days. I hope that he turns his life/attitude around and earns back the respect that he has lost, but I fear it is too late for him. One less distraction for the Steelers and one more distraction for the Patriots (although you wouldn't have known that this past Sunday night!!!)

Hey he only did what teams do all the time. Trade players. He just did it his way and it may not seem ethical but many people are not following the rules now days.

Although his approach was less than cordial, he did what many people do when their value has been underestimated: he asked for a sum that better represented his level of play. The latest allegations of violence are of more concern to me if they are true, but, people in the limelight/making good money can often times be the victims of extortion and false accusations. I have not heard the details and do not know if there is solid evidence (video tapes/audio tapes). If there is solid evidence, he should be immediately dismissed and penalized. I heard an interesting presentation on the radio the other day. If you were asked to go out and break at least one bone, have two concussions (that could lead to a shorter life span expectancy), risk becoming paralyzed every year for the next three years...would you sign a contract for five million dollars? These are the things that each and every one of those players faces when thay enter into a game as three hundred pound line men rush at them at amazing speeds. I cannot say that I would sign that contract as I love my family too much and look forward to seeing extensions in my family.
